Get ready to hit the lake with friends, neighbors, and a little friendly competition! The Sweezey Lake Poker Run is back — a day of fun, floating, and five-card luck. Bring your boat, your float, or hitch a ride with a neighbor.

We want to give a warm thank you to Carter Paxton, who organizes the event every year along with all volunteers to be stops. Without community participation, these events cease to exist!

📅 Date: Saturday, August 2nd

🗳️ Registration: 5:30pm or earlier at Strickler Park. Lake stops will begin dealing out cards no earlier than 6:00pm

🕐 Game Start Time: 6:00pm

📍 Starting Point: One of the five stops around the lake. Please spread out to start and complete all 5 stops before returning to Strickler Park.

💵 Entry Fee: **$20 per hand (cash only)

**As a 501(c)(7) nonprofit social club, our events are limited to current members and their invited guests. We appreciate your understanding as we follow IRS guidelines that ensure we remain in good standing.

🃏 Purchase your hand of cards at Strickler Park, starting at 5:30pm.

🚤 Stop at the 5 labeled dock locations around the lake to draw your cards.

🃏 Return to Strickler Park with your full hand.

🎁 Prizes awarded at Strickler Park.

🍔 As always, please bring your favorite dish, appetizer, hors d’oeuvres or cocktail snack to share.
