The lock on the park gate was changed January 31, 2025 and the deadline for dues was March 31, 2025. If you haven’t done so already, please send your association dues of $45. Please mail a check made out to “Sweezey Lake Association” to:

ASSOCIATION POLICIES
BOATING & LAKE USE RULES
Speed Restrictions:
No wake speeds are required before 9:00 AM and after 7:00 PM.
All boaters must follow Michigan boating laws.
Boat Ramp Access
Do not lend your gate key to non-members for ramp access.
Always lock the gate after using the boat ramp.
Invasive Species Prevention
Clean your boat hull thoroughly before launching if it has been used in other lakes.
ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES
Fertilizer Use:
Do not fertilize your lakefront lawn within 20 feet of the shoreline to protect water quality.
FINANCIAL POLICIES
Dues & Reporting:
Annual dues are determined by the Board based on current account balance and projected expenses.
The Treasurer shall present an annual report of receipts and disbursements at the yearly meeting.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Membership Categories:
Full Members: Access to all social events and boat ramp key (sent with annual dues).
Social Members: Access to all social events, no boat ramp key.
Legacy Members: Same benefits as Full Members. Legacy status applies to the following members only and is non-transferable:

ASSOCIATION RESOURCES
Tables and Chairs:
Association-owned tables and chairs are available for use with a reasonable donation.
ENFORCEMENT & RESPONSIBILITY
Rule Enforcement:
The Board of Directors may terminate any membership due to violations of association policies by members, guests, or tenants.
Responsibility for Guests & Tenants
Members are responsible for ensuring their guests and tenants understand and follow both Sweezey Lake Association rules and Michigan boating regulations.
